Haskell winner Coil was the early favorite at 3/1, however, his status will not be decided until Tuesday when he has his workout.

Shackleford finished second to Coil and was listed with early 5/1 odds.  Shackleford was the 2011 Preakness Stakes winner.

Jockey Jesus Castanon guided Shackleford over a solid five-furlong work in 1:00.88 over the main track.

Bet at Twin Spires!

"The best thing was the finish of the work, he finished up real strong and galloped out real good," Castanon said. “That’s what you want from horses like that. They start off a decent pace in the beginning and they finish up strong."
