San Carlos Stakes 2012 Odds to Win – Santa Anita Park

The San Carlos Stakes 2012 odds to win at Santa Anita Park had two big favorites as the Road to Derby continues.  Amazombie and The Factor were both offering payout odds between -140 and -160. WagerWeb.com had all your latest weekend race odds here.  You can claim up to $1000 in FREE CASH based on an initial deposit.  13 percent weekly volume cashback!  Use bonus code GAMBLING911.

Amazombie is trained by Bill Spawr and enjoyed a victory in the Breeders' Cup Sprint this past November.

"We let him open-gallop a half-mile this morning at a two-minute clip with Alex Bisono on him," Spawr explained, before admitting he's all but conceded victory to trainer Bob Baffert and his speed freak, The Factor, in Saturday's seven-furlong race with a $200,000 purse.

"I would say we're all running for second," said Spawr on a glorious Southern California morning Thursday after he had sent Amazombie through his preparations. "It's all about The Factor, anyway, and how easy a lead he gets. There's no speed to run with him. Northing can run with him."

The Factor is a Bob Baffert trained horse that was listed with -160 odds.  There was some question earlier in the week as to whether The Factor would race in Santa Anita this weekend or be shipped off to Dubai for the $2 million Golden Shaheen for sprinters on March 31.
