Ride On Curlin Odds to Win Belmont Stakes at 8-1

Ride On Curlin comes into Saturday’s Belmont Stakes with 8-1 odds of winning at Sportsbook.ag.

Make no mistake about it, Ride On Curlin does present a serious threat at this year’s Belmont Stakes race having finished no worse than third in seven of his last eleven starts.

Ride On Curlin finished 2^nd at the Preakness Stakes following a disappointing 7^th place finish at this year’s Kentucky Derby.

He was one of six Belmont Stakes contenders to put in their final drills for the 1 ½-mile classic on the Sunday and performed admirably.

"I thought he went super," Trainer Billy Gowan said. "[Beccia] went just like I told him. I told him to go slow the first quarter and he went in :27 seconds, went the last quarter in :24 seconds. It was just what we wanted, mainly just to get some air into him. If I work him a half-mile he may get too speed crazy, so as long as he was going slow, that's all we needed."
