The Pontefract Showcasing Flying Fillies Stakes betting odds had Dever Dream as the 7/4 favorite Sunday 14 August 2011.

120x60 £

Approximately 45 percent of those betting this race were backing Dever Dream.

The Sportinglife Preview:

Rimth is the highest rated in the field but she's facing a tough task carrying a penalty for her defeat of today's rival Sharnberry in the Fred Darling at Newbury back in April. She finished fourth in the Group 3 Oak Tree at Goodwood last time when DEVER DREAM was runner-up. The latter didn't get the best of runs on that occasion but was flying at the finish and can go one better here. Desert Poppy continued her improvement with a victory in a handicap at Newmarket last month but has a bit to find on today's terms, while Rose Blossom looks a threat on her second in a Listed race at Chester, though she has a bit to find with the selection on earlier running at York.

Folly Bridge and Rimth were getting the next heaviest betting action at 18 percent and 16 percent, respectively.  Rimth won the Fred Darling on return in April and came in 4th in 7f Goodwood Group 3.  Folly Bridge won the 7f Newmarket handicap back in May.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
