Mucho Macho Man, who was listed with 5-1 odds, has won the 2013 Breeders Cup Classic, beating out favorite Game On Dude, who failed to crack the top five, finishing a disappointing 9th.

Kathy Ritvo beomes the first woman trainer to win Breeders Cup Classic.  She is also a heart-transplant survivor.

This year’s Breeders Cup Classic was worth a mind-blowing $5 million.

Will Take Charge finished in 2nd with 12-1 odds while Declaration of War came in 3rd at 10-1.  There were concerns over Declaration of War racing for the first time on dirt.

Fort Larned and The Last Gunfighter finished 4th and 5th, respectively.
