Mucho Macho Man and Richard’s Kid odds to win the Breeders Cup Classic 2012 were coming in at 7/1 and 11/1, respectively, at WagerWeb.com, which pays 13 percent weekly rebates (losses back) and NEVER REQUIRES A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to join.

Mucho Macho Man has not finished worse than 3nd in any of his 6 races run over the past year.  Richard’s Kid’s last two finishes were in 3nd, including the Grade I Pacific Stakes and Awesome Again.

Mucho Macho Man has been the sentimental favorite in most of the races he’s been entered in with part owner Kathy Ritvo.  She had a heart transplant back in November of 2008.

“I'd been warned it was only a matter of time before my heart gave out,' said Ritvo.  “I'm as tough as they come, but I'd suffered so much I'd got to the point where I was prepared to die.
“When the surgeons examined my heart afterwards, they told me I would not have lasted much longer. That a donor was found at that time was a miracle.”

Richard’s Kid is looking to upset the other talent.

Formerly trained by Bob Baffert, Richard’s Kid is now in Doug O'Neill’s camp.

"The one thing I've learned about him is that I absolutely love him," O'Neill said. "He does everything right. I think the race over the track will help. Garrett (Gomez) riding him for the second time will help. As the track has settled through the meet, it's gotten more of a bottom to it. Horses are changing positions more than they were early in the meet. I think he can get it

done."

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
