Canonize and Gladding are both co-favorites to win the Santana Mile Stakes at 7/5 and 8/5, respectively.

The Daily Racing Form believes this race features the perfect conditions for Gladding, however.

At one mile on the main track, the $70,000 Santana is an easier spot for Gladding than the race he tried 15 days earlier. That was the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap at 1 1/4 miles, a tough race made impossible by an extreme pace.

All odds for these two races appear below.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
