The Gotham Stakes 2012 odds will be available at WagerWeb.com heading into Saturday’s face.  You can qualify to receive up to $1000 in FREE CASH based on an initial deposit starting at $25 and 13 percent cash back courtesy of their loyalty program (see details here).

Hansen, the 2011 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile champ and a 6/5 favorite to win the Gothams Stakes 2012, will attempt to rebound from his runner-up performance in Gulfstream Park’s Holy Bull during which he almost fell breaking from the gate.

“We felt that the Gotham was a good spot and the timing was excellent,” Dr. Harvey Diamond, part-owner of Hansen along with Dr. Kendall Hansen, told Brisnet.com. “We just hope that on Gotham Day he will settle himself in the gate and show the Hansen that we all know he is.”

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
