Doncaster odds for Friday June 24, 2011 had Old Hundred as the 4 to 1 favorite followed by Rare Rugby and Meetings Man, each at 6 to 1 odds at William Hill, where the best odds are guaranteed.

Pat Cosgrave again partners Old Hundred. He was a beaten favourite on his last appearance but does have C&D to his name. Can he hold off the challenge of Rare Ruby?

From William Hill’s Steve Boow:  “Old Hundred’s latest effort needs to be overlooked but he had seemed the type to progress further when successful over C&D on his reappearance and could be worther another chance, particularly with the yard in good form. Rajeh and Kazbow are previous winners of this race, while Rare Ruby is among others to consider.”

Arizona John was listed at 7 to 1 odds while Kazbow came in at 8 to 1.

Four horses were listed at 10 to 1 odds in this Friday race:  Perpetually, Montparnasse, Overrule and Red Fama.

The three long shots included Bollin Greta at 12 to 1, Parhelion at 14 to 1 and Rajeh paying a sweet 16 to 1 odds.

This one goes off at 3:25 local time.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
