California Chrome has won the 2014 Preakness Stakes as the favorite and the Triple Crown dream remains.  There has not been a Triple Crown winner for nearly four decades.

California Chrome got off to a good start and had clear sailing from the outside.  Pablo Del Monte had lead a good part of the way as a huge 40-1 long shot.

The finishes were as follows:

1. California Chrome

2. Ride On Curlin

3. Social Inclusion

California Chrome came into this race with 3/5 odds.

The odds of a Triple Crown winner in 2014 were just over 2/1 coming into this race.
