The Belmont Stakes 2014 afternoon odds as of 12:45 pm EST had California Chrome pay $11 for every $10 bet at Bookmaker here.  We are probably going to see this number go to -200 by post time so best to lock it in now.

Medal Count was at 20-1 odds at AceSportsbook.com whereas some books were offering as low as 12-1.

Commanding Curve still had decent odds at 15-1.

There has been some talk of both Tonalist and Wicked Strong having the ability to compete well at Belmont and give Chrome a run for his money.

Tonalist odds had gotten shorter at 8-1, down from 12-1 in the morning.

Wicked Strong was staying somewhat steady hovering around 6-1 as the next shortest favorite.

Ride On Curlin odds of 12-1 were longer at AceSportsbook.com compared to other books that had him at 8-1.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
