The Arlington Million Stakes is one of the most important races of the year leading up to the Breeders Cup.  This Grade I 1 ¼ mile Turf race open to horses aged three years and up features a $1 million purse.

Afsfare, at 5/1 odds, is another much talked about contender coming into Saturday’s Arlington Million.

Trainer Luca Cumani said: "We've been there a few times since we won with Tolomeo, which was a remarkable day because he beat the American star of the time, John Henry. We haven't managed to do as well, but I think we go there with a good chance in Afsare."

He added: "He has run very well all year and seems to have found some consistency. He should be suited by the mile and a quarter there and the short straight. He's got a very good turn of foot."

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
