All Squared Away Upset Win at Coolmore Lexington Stakes Pays 70-1 Odds (Video)

It was all All Squared Away with the upset win at the Coolmore Lexington Stakes Saturday with an amazing payout of 70-1.

All Squared Away held off favored Summer Front by 1 ½ lengths to win the 31st running of this race.

The horse is trained by Wesley Ward and was ridden by Julio Garcia, All Squared Away paid $143.20 to win.  This broke the stakes-record payoff of $83 established by Slew’s Tizzy in 2007.

“He’s always trained like a good horse, like a quality horse,” said owner Peter Miller after the race. “We are thrilled. Over the moon.”

All Squared Away finished poorly in its two previous stakes races with a seventh place finish in the El Camino Real Derby in February and sixth in the Spiral Stakes at Turfway.
