AceSportsbook.com was offering betting odds for each Kentucky Derby entrant to win the 2015 Triple Crown.

Odds of there not being a Triple Crown were set at -1000 originally.

There has not been a Triple Crown winner since 1978 when Affirmed took that honor.  It’s interesting to note that the 1970’s offered up three Triple Crown winners including Secretariat and Seattle Slew.

Last year, California Chrome made it to the Belmont Stakes with two legs of the Triple Crown already won but was beaten by a more well-rested horse in that one.

American Pharoah, the Kentucky Derby favorite, was listed with 8-1 odds of winning the Triple Crown followed by Dortmund at 9.5/1 odds.

All the Derby contender odds of winning the Triple Crown 2015 appear below.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
