2012 Spiral Stakes Betting Odds

2012 Vinery Spiral Stakes betting odds were available here at WagerWeb.com, which was offering up to $1000 in FREE CASH (based on an initial deposit) and up to 13 percent CASH BACK ON LOSSES.

The Spiral Stakes is for three-year-old thoroughbreds to race one and one-eighth miles at Turfway outside of Cincinnati.  This synthetic track race was downgraded to Grade III status in 2011.  It features a purse of $500,000.  Animal Kingdom first gained prominence in this race before going on to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby.

There are three favorites to win the 2012 Spiral Stakes: Heavy Breathing at 2/1 and Went The Day Well and Handsome Mike, both at 3/1 odds.

Heavy Breathing, trained by Todd Pletcher, is unbeaten in two career starts.

“This looked like the right spot to try our horse and see if he’s good enough to go on,” Heavy Breathing part owner Jack Wolf told the Daily Racing Form. “I guess some other people had the same idea.”
