Grand Canyon (30-4) proved they got what it takes to be this year's Cinderella after knocking off Saint Mary's 75-66 to earn the school's first NCAA tournament victory.

"This is kind of the next step in the maturation of a winning program, is being able to win a game in the tournament," Grand Canyon coach Bryce Drew said. "And for myself -- and I think for our program and for our school -- it is just a huge step. Some more people can realize how special a school GCU is and hopefully the effort we gave tonight, hopefully we can follow up with a great effort on Sunday [against fourth-seeded Alabama]."

Tyon Grant-Foster led the Lopes with 22 points and was one of four GCU players to score in double figures, along with Rayshon Harrison (17), Collin Moore (10) and Gabe McGlothan (12).

"It's cool to see the world seeing what we're capable of, what GCU is capable of," forward McGlothan said. "And just that we're just not done yet."

The college basketball betting player props have Grant Foster with a total of 21.5 scoring for Sunday's game.  His rebound number is set at 6.5.

Harrison has an Over/Under scoring total of 17.5.

Alabama is listed as the -6.5 favorite in this second round NCAA tournament game.

Mark Sears led the highest-scoring offense in the country with 30 points to beat Charleston 109-96.  His scoring total for Sunday's game is set at 22.5.

Alabama had lost four of their last six games coming into Friday's 1st round.

“To go through a little adversity and still have these guys come together and really play as hard as they did tonight, as hard as they played for each other, as good as they did on the defensive end when we struggled to guard at times, I think that’s the most fulfilling,” Alabama coach Nate Oats said.
