TIME Person of Year 2021 Odds Show Clear Favorite
While the TIME Person of the Year as voted on by the readers was announced today, the TIME Editors' selection (the one that matters) won't be revealed until December 13.
Last year Greta Thunberg, Black Lives Matter and Essential Workers were the favorites for the honor. But ultimately, it was Joe Biden took home the TIME POY crown.
Vegas has apparently tightened its projections as 2021 has a clear-cut favorite.
SportsBetting.ag, an online oddsmaker, has made Essential Workers (doctors, nurses, first responders, etc.) a heavy, odds-on favorite.
If someone wanted to bet on Essential Workers, they would have to risk $7 just to win $1. That's how big of a favorite this group is for 2021.
