Officials at Thunder Valley Casino Resort confirmed a huge score came from the Dancing Drums slot’s climbing progressive meter.

A lucky individual bet just $8.80 and walked away with a jaw-dropping $381,009.

“It can create memories that last a lifetime,” Thunder Valley General Manager Dawn Clayton told The Sacramento Bee, adding that jackpots like the one hit Saturday bring “incredible energy and excitement to the entire casino.”

The Lincoln resort, located about 30 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento, has been on a heater this spring with a string of eye-popping payouts that included a $134,829 pay day courtesy of the Face Up Pai Gow progressive jackpot and a Dragon Link machine delivered an even larger $679,496 jackpot.

Thunder Valley boasts roughly 3,500 slot and video machines, around 90 table games, a 408-room hotel and a 4,500-seat concert venue,

Dancing Drums Online Variations

Dancing Drums, or its variations, are often found on sweepstakes casinos.

Real money online casinos like BetOnline tend to feature similar slots like Dragon's Treasure

Both slots share some of the same appeal including:

  • Asian prosperity/wealth theme
  • Gold coins, dragons, lantern visuals
  • Frequent bonus-style pacing
  • Medium-to-high volatility
  • “Casino floor” style gameplay rather than modern Megaways chaos

Likewise, Dragon's Siege, also found at BetOnline, has some similarities to Dancing Drums, but it feels a bit more action-oriented and volatile.

This slot game features:

  • Asian-inspired theme
  • Gold coins, dragons, prosperity visuals
  • Bonus-heavy gameplay
  • Big-win/jackpot chasing feel
  • Traditional casino-floor style pacing

Most sources that list Dragon's Siege place the Return to Player (RTP) around 98%, which is insanely high for an online slot.

Gambling911.com cannot independently verify if this RTP is accurate.
