Today's World Cup Matches
Tuesday July 7, 2026 (9:06 am EDT)
Argentina vs. Egypt
Argentina is a big -800 favorite today with Egypt promising a payout of US$530 for every US$100 bet. Lionel Messi so far has 7 goals in this year's World Cup. Egypt became the first African and first Arab nation ever to play at a FIFA World Cup. They lost 4-2 to Hungary in the first round, but Abdulrahman Fawzi scored twice, making him Africa's first World Cup goalscorer. Over the years, however, Egypt has had a spotty World Cup record, to say the least. They returned after another 28-year wait in 2018. Egypt lost all three group matches despite two goals from Mohamed Salah. They have been absent since that time. Goals have been scored by Mohamed Salah – 1 goal, Emam Ashour – 1 goal, Mahmoud Hassan ("Trezeguet") – 1 goal and Mostafa Mohamed – 1 goal on the Egyptian side.
Switzerland vs. Colombia
This is the 2nd and last match before Wednesday's break as Colombia enters as the -160 favorite here. Colombia has looked like one of the tournament’s dark-horse teams: unbeaten, group winner, and through to the Round of 16 after a 1-0 win over Ghana. Switzerland has also been solid and disciplined. They advanced after a controlled 2-0 win over Algeria, with Breel Embolo and Dan Ndoye among the key attacking contributors. Johan Manzambi has also been a breakout Swiss name this tournament. He pays US$1200 for every US$100 bet to score the first goal of this match while Switzerland's Breel Embolo and Colombia's Luis Diaz come in as the co-favorites promising a US$600 payout for every US$100 bet to score the first goal here.

Graham Platner Odds Continue to Plunge in Wake of Latest Allegations
Tuesday July 7, 2026 (9:01 am EDT)
Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner said Monday he is taking time to reflect on the future of his campaign following a sexual assault allegation leveled against him. Minutes after the story went live, Platner took to X to refute the claims, though he noted his team would be "taking the time to reflect on the best path forward. Platner is vying to unseat incumbent Sen. Susan Collins in a highly contested matchup. His odds are now at Even and getting longer Tuesday morning with reports he could drop out any day. Those odds were -140 just days ago and Republican Susan Collins is suddenly leading the race in the odds category at -140 (was +125).
