They talk every day and Pacman visited him after Deion’s health issues.

Please keep in mind that this interview took place before the Browns announced Dillon Gabriel as the Week 5 starter on Wednesday.

Deion spoke loquaciously on a variety of topics, and we’ve highlighted a few below. They are accompanied by select quotes.

You can watch the full Pacman Jones Show on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKj2Nc_MHJA. The interview starts at the 25:25 mark of the podcast.

Browns QB: I got love for Joe Flacco. He truly presented them with the best opportunity to win early on cause he don’t make many mistakes.”

“I really have no comment in regard to that because you know we gonna go viral. It’s gonna go back to Shedeur. I don’t want it affecting and hurting Shedeur with my honest truth and assessment so I’m going to take the backseat on that one.”

Travis Hunter as a two-way player, Pacman thinks he should be predominantly on offense: “I’ve been the head coach of Travis Hunter for three years, and he’s played both.”

“To get the best of him, you got to feature him. You got to keep him involved because he’s a big play waiting to happen.”

“This guy has a gift. You traded valuable picks to go get him. Use him in the sense that you traded those valuable picks to go get him.”

“Travis is one of a kind and you have to treat him as such.”

AJ Brown complaints (tweet): “If I was his coach, we would have a relationship so he wouldn’t put it out there like this.”

“That’s an internal thing between he and the quarterback that needs to be handled. That’s really what he is doing, he is telling the quarterback, ‘I want the ball.’ Ok, go tell him, he’s right there. We don’t need to let everyone in the country know.”

QB changes at Colorado: “Who wants to play musical quarterbacks. Ain’t no one want to play musical quarterbacks. You want to play one guy. You want one guy to be the guy.”

“We got it right. We got the guy that gives us the best opportunity to win at this point. Sometimes guys have to see the light and you have to help him see the light. And that’s not always comfortable.”

Deion’s health: I’m good. I only have one problem, I cannot control my pee. Some days me and my grandson have a competition on who has the heaviest Depends.”

On if it’s harder to hit a home run or a 90-mph fastball or get an interception: “That fastball. They don’t throw 90 anymore dawg, they throw 100.”

Miscellaneous comments:

Only rule change I want in football is the overtime rule. I want the overtime like college football. I don’t want just because you got the toss, you got the advantage because if you have a great quarterback, the other team isn’t even touching the ball.”
