Everybody's favorite sports bettor, James Franklin McIngvale, better known as "Mattress Mack" has just bet $ 2million on his beloved Dallas Cowboys to win outright on the moneyline.

The Houston area furniture mogul had to back the next best thing as his home town was stuck with a Texans team that pulled off just three wins, two of those in the final three weeks of the regular season so maybe there is some hope.

McIngvale's got a whole lot to look forward to locally as the Houston Cougars currently have the best odds to win the 2023 NCAA Men's College Basketball Championship while the reigning champion Astros are again World Series favorites.

McIngvale is looking to bounce back after he bet $3 million on TCU to beat Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

And as much as Mattress Mack is a friend to the Gambling911.com website, we say fade him.

McIngvale had his two million dollars sitting out for the fine folks at Caesars Sportsbook to happily take the bet on.  We'd be remiss in pointing out that most pros have been booted from the likes of Caesars and, if they're still playing, the limits are nowhere near $2 million.

Should the Cowboys win outright, Mack walks away with $2.7 million.  A cover won't cut it.  The Cowboys are +4 dogs here.

The furniture mogul won't lose though.  He promotes a giveaway for his mattress store if his team wins, so he is essentially hedging his yearly sales with these bets and also uses it for marketing.

Say what you will about Mattress Mack, This promotional campaign is off the charts.

He's even thinking about opening his own sportsbook per this Gambling911.com exclusive.
