Prague

As many of you are already aware, iGaming Super Show attendees will be blessed with my presence at this year's show.  My lovely and loyal wife Sadhvi will be meeting with a select few of you, attending only the most important networking parties while in Prague May 25 through 28 and representing Gambling911.com in only the most professional manner.

Day 1 we will be at the 888.com sponsored official networking party.  888 is one of the biggest names in online gambling.  This will probably be one of the more stuffiest of the networking parties but all the important people should be present so I suppose it's important to go.

One thing you won't see is my wife and I acting like pathetic drunkards.  This is a business function, not a fraternity outing.  Nobody is interested in reading about a bunch of sloppy drunks or seeing the same group of Prague whores running around in tight fitting shirts with your company's logo on it.

My wife and I will be staying in a suite at the Prague Hilton.  We may entertain a few of you up there but bring your own wine.

Jetbul.com is sponsoring a party Day 2.  I've flown them a few times.  They left me on the tarmac for 6 hours once.

These are the only parties I plan on attending at this time.

The iGaming Super Show is the first event of its kind bringing the entire industry together under one roof to meet, learn and do business. Brought to you by the publishers of iGaming Business and iGB Affiliate and the organisers of the market leading iGB Affiliate events, expect this event to be big, with 2,000+ delegates expected to be in attendance.

The event is organised by iGaming Business who have been involved in the iGaming sector for over 8 years and publish a number of leading magazines, such as iGaming business, a trade publication, sent to over 7,000 individuals in iGaming, which covers in-depth issues and analysis on subjects ranging from law and management to finance and marketing.

My wife and I intend to spend most of our time between networking exploring the beautiful city of Prague.

Some restaurants I recommend:

Bellevue
Smetanovo nábr. 18,
Prague
Tel. 222 221 449
No website available

Located close to the Charles Bridge with window seats offering great views. This spot is the first choice for the uppercrust as the prices are over the top but the meal is well worth it. The cuisine is creative and more Nouvelle with a Continental flair. All entrees are wonderfully prepared. Try the lamb carpaccio with fresh herbs or the wild berries marinated in their port and cognac served with creamy vanilla and walnut ice cream. If you are in town, their Sunday jazz brunch is a definite. Hours: daily 12 pm - 3 pm and 5:30 pm - 11 pm. Entree price range $22-$39.

Vzatisi
Liliová 1, at Betlémské nám.,
Prague
Tel. 222 222 025

Located in the Stare Mesto section, you find one of the city's better establishments. The white walls and subtle decor offer an upscale ambiance. The Continental cuisine offers samples of smoked salmon, beef Wellington and other non-Czech specialties. The wine list is good and the service is top notch. Hours: Daily noon-3 p and 5:30 pm - 11 pm. Reservations recommended. Entree price range $20-$33.

As a cultured man, I will be taking in my fair share of Prague's vast museums.

Veletrzni Palace (National Gallery)
Veletrzní at Dukelských hrdinu 47
Prague

The majority of the country vast art collection is housed here and clearly illustrates the important national works of the Czech artists in addition to the other masters including the works of Picasso and Rodin. Located in the Stare Mesto (Old Town), the palace was built in 1925 and completed remodeled in 1995. Hours: Tues-Sun 10am-6pm. Admission KC250. Free for children under 6.

Also be sure to visit the Toy Museum.   It's a fun place for the kids but please do us all a big favor and leave them home.

Located right inside the Prague Castle, the Toy Museum is considered to be the second larges display of toys around the world. Find pieces dating back to ancient times. Hours: daily 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Admission is $2.50 for adults and free for children under 6.
