Bookies Hope to Avoid Disaster With Patriots Seeing Nearly 90 Percent

Bookies have hardly reacted to the amount of action coming in on New England this week in their game against the Houston Texans.  As of Friday afternoon, 86% of the action on the Patriots-Texans game was going towards New England.

While some have moved up to Patriots -4, others have held Pat (forgive the pun) at -3, with only brief moves to -3.5.   

“You can’t help but think they (the bookies) believe New England won’t cover,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  “Otherwise we would be seeing more of an effort to get money on the Texans.”
