If you are trying to place a bet on the National Anthem or Gatorade Shower, maybe even a little cleavage showing, and live in the state of Illinois, the in-state sports gambling apps here won't allow it.  Sites like BetOnline, though browser-based, are still accessible within Illinois and offer several hundred prop bets on this year's Super Bowl.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Illinois Gaming Board Administrator Marcus Fruchter has instructed the agency to only allow bets on “activity directly within the control or jurisdiction of the NFL and or individuals subject to the NFL integrity policy.”

Sites like Draftkings, FanDuel, William Hill, BetRivers and PointsBet will be prohibited from taking bets on dozens of novelty options.

Fruchter admits novelty bets are especially attractive, but it is paramount that sports wagering be conducted with the highest standards of integrity.

The amount of money wagered in the state in November topped $449 million, a slight increase over the $435 million the month prior.

Here is a sampling of National Anthem prop bets being offered by BetOnline:
