Louisiana State has two losses on the season while Mississippi has three.

Over the last five seasons, the Tigers have won four of five games in this series.  The only loss by LSU was within the current spread. In fact, the underdog is 13-2 ATS in their last 15 meetings.

In order for Ole Miss to win an SEC title, they must win their last two games against LSU and Mississippi State and then Alabama has to lose to Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 28.  The Rebels would then win the Western Division title.

LSU is trying to recover after two difficult losses to Alabama and Arkansas
