With the game called due to a lightning strike and 9:54 still on the clock, UL Monroe-Georgia ended with an easy win for the Bulldogs.

But it wasn’t a win for those who had bets on Georgia.  That’s because football games must go 55 minutes for action to be accepted.  In other words, all bets were cancelled despite Georgia easily sailing past the 35 point margin.

Sure UL Monroe-Georgia could have tacked on a few more points to cover, but that’s not exactly how this game was going.

Over 80 percent of those betting this game were backing the Bulldogs.  Ouch!
