South Florida vs. Rutgers College Football odds opened at South Florida -1 as the away favorite at SBG Global.  This line has remained steady.

South Florida is in the Top 25 in the country but to stay there they will have to win at Rutgers on Thursday night.  The Bulls have run the gauntlet in their past three games, losing to Cincinnati and Pittsburgh but beating West Virginia.  Normally there might be a letdown, but not this week since the Bulls are out for revenge against a Rutgers team that beat them 49-16 last year.

South Florida has been playing without senior quarterback Matt Grothe, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. Freshman B.J. Daniels has taken over and two weeks ago he threw for a career-high 232 yards and three touchdowns in the win over West Virginia. "I guess a lot of people doubted us and thought we were going to go down the same patch we did the last two years," said Daniels, "That was a lot of garbage that our team didn't listen to." South Florida may be without wide receiver Carlton Mitchell in this game. He hurt his ankle against West Virginia and is doubtful.

Rutgers has an explosive receiver in Tim Brown.  He is 10th in the country averaging 101.4 receiving yards per game. "Tim is as explosive a player as there is in the Big East," South Florida coach Jim Leavitt said. The key for South Florida will be to put pressure on Rutgers quarterback Tom Savage. They have two great defensive ends in Jason Pierre-Paul and George Selvie and the Bulls rank first in the Big East in fewest passing yards allowed.

"We're going to have to make sure we are smart in our protections," Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano said. "We have to get rid of the football. You're not going to be able to hold it forever."

Here are the college football betting stats for Thursday's game. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite. The Bulls are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Bulls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Thursday games.

The Over is 4-0 in the Bulls last 4 games overall. The Under is 5-2 in the Bulls last 7 road games. The Under is 6-1 in the Scarlet Knights last 7 games overall. The Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings between the two teams.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
