The Providence vs. Villanova betting line was into the double digits at Wildcats -17, and with good reason.  Villanova has only lost one game this season.

Providence vs. Villanova Betting Preview

Villanova has been superb this season with the single loss but even Against The Spread they have managed to go an impressive 12-6 this season.

Providence is not a bad team by any stretch of the matter as they currently own a 13-7 record.  Most of those losses were in recent games where they have gone 3-5, this compared to the start of the season where they went 10-2.

The Friars as a Road Underdog of 12.5 or More Points

If you were considering betting Providence on the money line, note that they have only won outright as this big an underdog in two of twenty-two games since 1992.  Those are pretty steep odds.

Against The Spread they fare a bit better in this range, going 2-0 over the past three seasons and 13-9 ATS since 1992.

BUT…. red hot Villanova is 5-1 Against The Spread as a home favorite of 15.5 to 18 points.
