There is more to the Breeders Cup 2011 than the actual Classic, even though that race will draw the most attention.  The Breeders Cup comprises a total of 15 races.

The Breeders Cup Mile has Goldikova as the easy 7/4 favorite and this one will likely draw a large number of bets because of Goldikova’s high profile.  Strong Suit comes in with the next shortest odds at 5/1.  All other Breeders Cup Mile odds can be found at TwinSpires.com here.

You can bet on all the Breeders Cup races at TwinSpires.com, owned and operated by Churchill Downs.  US players welcome (some state restrictions do apply).

Sarafina was the odds-on favorite to win the Breeders Cup Turf at 11/4.  Await The Dawn was originally slated to race in the Classic but will now be part of the Breeders Cup Turf at 5/1 odds.  Sea Moon was at 4/1.  Find more odds here.

Elsewhere, Big Drama was the 7/2 favorite to win the Breeders Cup Sprint, and Union Rags was at 9/4 odds of winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile.

The Breeders Cup Dirt Mile was a tight one with The Factor, Wilburn and Trappe Shot all coming in around 4/1 odds.

The Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf pays the highest odds for a favorite at 6/1 with State of Play.

Breeders Cup Marathon and Turf Sprint odds along with all other races could be found here.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
