Online bookies probably made out big time with bettors for NCAA Week 1 games. A lot of favorites went down. Now on to NCAA Week 2 odds!

For even more tips and tricks to grow your online bookie business, go to PayPerHead.com’s full library here.

Tulsa at Ohio State    -28.5

The line opened at Ohio State -28. It’s only gone up a half a point. That doesn’t tell bookies exactly how bullish the public is on the Buckeyes to cover the spread. Ohio State romped all over Bowling Green 77 to 10 in Week 1. So far, 75% of the public feels that Ohio State should cover the spread against Tulsa in this matchup. Pay per head agents had better expect a flood of bets on Ohio State.

Nevada at Notre Dame           -27.5

The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame were upset 50 to 47 in Austin on Sept. 4. Notre Dame’s defense isn’t nearly as tough as it was in 2015. That doesn’t seem to matter to the public. Casual bettors are all over the Irish. Casual bettors have actually bet this line up a full point from Notre Dame -26.5 too Irish -27.5. This is one game where the pros might go the other way. Nevada scored 30 points in their Week 1 game.

Western Kentucky at Alabama           -28

Online bookies and pay per head agents have to expect a flood of dollars to flow onto the Crimson Tide to cover the -28 points after the Tide absolutely ransacked well-regarded USC 52 to 3 in Week 1. Alabama looks like the best team in college football…again. But the pros know better. Alabama Coach Nick Saban takes it easy versus inferior teams. I didn’t know that USC was an inferior team.

81% of the public is all over Alabama. That’s why the betting line has already gone from Alabama -26.5 to Alabama -28. Pro college football bettors are likely to go the other way. Western Kentucky beat Rice 46 to 14 in Week 1. The Hilltoppers are a talented bunch.

Arkansas State at Auburn      -19.5

This is another game where the pros might go the other way. Auburn played Clemson super tough in Week 1. But Auburn was up for that matchup. It’s hard to see Auburn bringing the same kind of energy to this matchup on Sept. 10. Arkansas State lost 10 to 31 to Toledo. But the Red Wolves rushed for 138 yards on the ground. If Arkansas State gets the rushing game going, they could keep it closer than the 19.5 points.

Bookies should use pay per head layoffing techniques to lower their risk if Auburn truly is as good as they looked versus Clemson. 82% of the public is all over Auburn to cover versus the Red Wolves.
