LSU-West Virginia Line Opens at -5: Mountaineers are Dogs

The LSU-West Virginia line has opened at -5 in favor of the visiting Tigers, who come into this game ranked number 3.  West Virginia was ranked at number 20.  Both teams come into this Week 4 showdown with 3-0 records.  One will leave with a loss. 

Louisiana State University beat West Virginia at home last season by 6 points.  The Tigers beat Mississippi State Thursday night and will enjoy some added rest before meeting West Virginia.

LSU held the SEC's most dominant rushing attack to 52 yards Thursday. Mississippi State entered averaging 321 rushing yards a game -- most in the conference and sixth most in the FBS.

West Virginia was also challenged this past week playing Maryland.  West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith threw for 388 yards against Maryland to pull off the 37-31 victory.

The Tigers are 13-4 Against The Spread in their last 17 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game.

The Mountaineers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0 but are also 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
