Eagles-Redskins Spread

The Eagles-Redskins spread had Washington as a +1.5 home underdog despite having the better record at 3-1.  The line is reflective of public opinion whereby 70 percent of those betting the spread in this game are backing Philadelphia.

"This is a 'due' factor.  They don't deserve to be favored in this game," said Randal The Handle of Don Best TV (see below video).

A loss here would result in the Eagles first five-game skid under head coach Andy Reid.

"The thing that myself, our coaches, and the players, we're going to work our tail off to get it right," Reid said. "That's what we're going to do. We're not backing up a leg, man. That's our approach."

The Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan, whose team has markedly improved with a 3-1 record, will not take Philadelphia for granted.

"They're moving the heck out of the football," Shanahan said about the Eagles. "They've got some great weapons. They're scoring some points. All four of those games they've lost with turnovers."
