Browns-Raiders Spread

The Browns-Raiders spread has moved only slightly from Oakland -7 to -6.5 at some online sportsbooks and those in Las Vegas.  This is a little strange in that 80 percent of the backing on the spread is going towards Oakland.  One would think the line might be moving upwards.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline.com notes that “The Raiders should be able to win this game at home and keep pace with the Chargers for first place in the AFC West, but in order to do that they need to establish that dominant run game from the outset. Cleveland is off their bye and will be looking to stack the box to stop the rush, and the difference in this game could come down to (Jason) Campbell’s ability to take advantage on one-on-one matchups through the air.”
