Auburn Tigers football is getting the most betting action after the New Orleans Saints coming into Wednesday at BetUS.com, where they are a -2 ½ road favorite against Mississippi State.  This game goes off Thursday night.

Auburn was getting just shy of 85 percent of the action in this game.  The line initially opened at -3 and has moved to -2 at some books.  The oddsmakers seem to be encouraging bets on the team that is getting the most lopsided action.

The Auburn college football team is ranked number 21 coming into this one.  Their quarterback Cameron Newton was named the SEC's offensive player of the week following his impressive Week 1 debut with the Tigers. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, rolled over Memphis last week.

The Tigers have won eight of nine meetings with Mississippi State, including four straight on the road.

It is interesting, however, that the bookies seem to be encouraging action on Auburn Wednesday afternoon, and this has been the trend.

BetUS.com only today pushed the line back up to -2 ½ after holding at -2 for the past two days.
