Alabama vs. FSU Betting Line – Early BCS Championship 2014

Yes, it’s true.  The Alabama vs. FSU betting line for the 2014 BCS Championship game is currently available several weeks before we even know which two teams will be playing.  Alabama is a -4 favorite, Florida State is listed at +4 at Sportsbook.com

Alabama, ranked number one in the country, managed a 20-7 win against Mississippi last weekend.  The Tide failed to cover the 25-point spread however.

Alabama looked lethargic, uninspired, sloppy and downright ordinary against a middling Southeastern Conference team on Saturday, the Associated Press noted.

The Crimson Tide will host 8-3 Chattanooga as a -49 point favorite Saturday, but all eyes will be on the final week matchup at Auburn, which promises to have everyone in the great state of Alabama glued to their television sets if they can’t make it to the stadium.

The Tigers last week pulled off what was being heralded as a “Miracle in Auburn”, a final second Hail Mary that was caught to put the Tigers back in the lead.  This is also an Auburn team that has lost only one game this season.

FSU had little trouble annihilating last week’s opponent Syracuse by a final score of 59-3.  This was the second straight week that the Seminoles won by 56 points or more and in Week 13 they are listed as a -57 point favorite.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
