Alabama Crimson Tide Football

It is indeed rare that the Alabama Crimson Tide Football team, favored at 2/1 odds to win the 2011 BCS Championship title at BetUS.com, are getting the least amount of betting action in their upcoming game.  Not that it’s anything dramatic.  The -7 ½ Alabama spread was getting around 40 percent compared to 60 percent for the Florida Gators.  But this is Alabama after all and we usually don’t see them on the opposite side of the public betting spectrum.

BetUS.com ranked the Crimson Tide football team number one in its own breakdown.

We can't punish Alabama for not beating the football odds against the Razorbacks, especially after that comeback from down 13 points. The Tide are for real, and they might prove it against Florida on Saturday night.

"We want to get ready to play our best football every game that we play," Alabama Coach Nick Saban said. "It's a standard that we want to play to here. It doesn't really matter -- the numbers on the back of the jerseys change and the numbers change, but the standard never does. That's a very challenging thing to get from a consistency standpoint but it's certainly what we want for our team."

Alabama has won 28 consecutive regular season games, Florida 24.
