Carrie Stroup here with your 2010 NFL Week 9 predictions based on the amount of public action coming in on a particular team.  As always, we bet against that team.  There must also be sufficient amount of volume bet on that game to qualify.

Last week, there were no selections.

Let’s get started.

The Patriots and the Jets were pretty much equally the two most wagered on NFL teams of Week 9.  Both were getting around 80 percent of the action in their respective games.

I’m not convinced that either the Browns or the Lions have improved a whole lot over last season but those will be my picks from these two games, hoping that at least one comes through.

The Lions are +5at home.  The Browns are +4 at home.  Both lines could be found at Sportsbook.com here.

Next on our agenda are the Saints, who were getting 80 percent of the action as well.  Carolina has covered 7 of the last 8 in this series.  I like Carolina at +6.5, albeit it’s a little tough betting on this lowly team.

With the New York Giants getting 80 percent of the action against Seattle, gotta go with the Seahawks here at +7 even if they are not the best road team in the world.

The next most wagered on team is the Indianapolis Colts, however, the Eagles are the 6th most bet on, making the action here even.  This is a heavily bet on game to be sure and no pick here from Yours Truly.

Those are my picks.  Good luck to everyone.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.
