2010 Week 6 NFL Predictions

Carrie Stroup here with my 2010 Week 6 NFL predictions.  As always, will be going against the public here and usually posting underdogs.

With the Indianapolis Colts in Washington getting nearly 90 percent of the betting action, you know I am all over the Redskins here at +3.  Love this pick.  Indianapolis is the most bet on team for Week 6 of the NFL.

Next, I really don’t want to do this but it fits the formula.  The Steelers were getting better than 75 percent of the action and were the second most wagered on team this weekend.  Hate backing the Browns in this scenario but at +14, they are being thrown into the equation.

If I were a betting girl, which I am, I’d have to say that if the Browns don’t come through, the Broncos will against the Jets.  Like Cleveland, Denver is getting just under 25 percent of the action.  Denver as the +3 ½ home underdog here.

Typically I like my three to four picks getting 20 percent or less of the public action here but the second most wagered on team in a high volume matchup was getting better than 20 percent, as was the third most wagered on team.  I believe we will go 2-1 this weekend as a result.  Either Broncos or Browns cover.  Pick your poison.

NFL Betting – Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints

NFL Betting – Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints

You would expect an offensive show when quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees face each other. So far they’ve delivered for over bettors with each team playing above the closing total in their first two games. The future Hall-of-Famers go at it on Week 3 Sunday Night Football when the undefeated Green Bay Packers visit the New Orleans Saints.

NFL Betting – Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens

NFL Betting – Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens

Since we didn’t get this matchup in January, I guess having last season’s Super Bowl champs and the team with the best record squaring off in an early-season battle of AFC heavyweights will have to do – for now. The marquee Week 3 matchup has the Kansas City Chiefs at the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Garnering all the headlines to conclude the betting week are the last two NFL MVPs, and deservedly so.
