What Are the Odds of Three Billboards Winning the Oscar for Best Film?

Three Billboards winning the Oscar for Best Film would pay out $10 for every $12 bet (that $12 refunded and a $10 profit realized as long as it wins).

While the payout is generous by Oscars standards, there is speculation that Three Billboards could suffer from a backlash due to its racial undertones.

From Vox:

Three Billboards got something very right about women’s rage, but it also got something very wrong about race — no small matter for a film set in Missouri in 2017 that features an openly racist cop who dances around the n-word and has tortured a black man in police custody.

It's indeed likely that the film would otherwise be a more dominating favorite.  As things stand now, Three Billboards is only slightly favored to win over The Shape of Water, which now pays EVEN odds.  The Shape of Water had been the favorite up until Friday.

Get Out, meanwhile, is garnering some last minute momentum.  It too ironically has a racial theme that, unlike Three Billboards, is serving to benefit the film.
