Prince William and Kate’s new bundle of joy now has a name, and the favorite among oddsmakers has won out.

George Alexander Louis is the birth name given to the Royal Baby.  This was the near even-odds favorite amongst bookmakers, who likely took a bit of a hit with this wager.

According to Clarence House, the infant will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
Prince William and his wife, Kate, welcomed their son to the world on Monday afternoon.

The folks at PaddyPower.com were still taking future bets on when the royal baby will have his first girlfriend, her name, what nightclub the royal baby will first be photographed at and what college George will attend.

Don't be shedding any tears for these bookies either as they have taken in over $2 million in bets on the royal baby.  They also won with the early favorite, Alexandra.
