There is more to be than just the winner.  The OVER/UNDER number of hot dogs eaten is always a popular prop bet.

There are OVER/UNDERs on number of hot dogs eaten by individual competitors and the total for the entire event. Joey Chestnut was favored to eat OVER 68.5.

And while multi-year reigning champion Chestnut doesn’t have much in the way of any competition to reduce his -2000 odds, the women do.

Sonya Thomas was listed at -140 odds while the field had EVEN odds.
