Just one day after Gambling911.com reported that Harrah’s had no plans to scrap its Paula Deen Buffet at four of its properties, parent company Caesar’s announced an end to the arrangement on Wednesday morning.

Deen’s restaurants will be rebranded and reopened in the next couple of months according to a company spokesperson.

The Paula Deen Buffet operated in Harrah's Tunica casino, Harrah's Joliet near Chicago, Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina ... and the Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

Protests were being planned in front of the Tunica casino after it was revealed last week that Deen admitted to using a nasty racial slur to describe people of color several years ago.  More recently reports surfaced that Deen had planned a “Southern Plantation” wedding for her brother, Bubba, that would include Black people dressed as slaves.

Deen may have made matters worse by appearing on the “Today” Show Wednesday morning questioning whether the so-called “N” word really is offensive to African Americans.
