Fantastic Beasts ultimately won and paid out 20-1 odds. A $100 bet would have paid out $2000.

“This ranks among the biggest Oscar upsets in modern times where the bettors are concerned,” remarked Payton O’Brien of Gambling911.com. “We don’t know how many people bet on this film but we do know there were a good number of searches coming in for odds on this category.”
