Eurovision 2024 Odds Up as Israel Qualifies for Final, Protests in Host City
The Eurovision 2024 Finals odds are up now and there are some protests coming into this weekend as Israel qualifies for the final.

Eden Golan's victory came hours after thousands of pro-Palestinian protestors gathered in the streets of Malmö, Sweden, where the contest is being held, to show their support for Gaza.
The contest is one of the most popular in Europe and a heavily wagered on event.
"It is truly such an honour to be here on stage, representing [Israel] with pride," Golan said.
"I’m so grateful for everyone who voted and took part in supporting us, and me."
An armed conflict between Israel and Hamas-led Palestinian militant groups[s] has been taking place chiefly in the Gaza Strip since late last year after a Hamas-led militant surprise attack on Israel on 7 October. 252 individuals were abducted during the attack, mostly Israeli citizens.
Since the start of the Israeli operation, more than 34,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, and another 10,000 others are missing and presumed dead. Much of the strip's 2.3 million Palestinian population has been internally displaced.
The war has had significant international repercussions with large Pro-Palestinian protests occurring across the world, including on college campuses in the US.
