Though heartthrob, Gilles Marini, is likely to become the runaway favorite on this season's Dancing With The Stars following Monday night's passionate paso doble with partner, Cheryl Burke, rapper Lil Kim is still in the thick of things. Marini scored a perfect 29, but Lil Kim tied this week's slight favorite, Shawn Johnson, with a score of 26.
Lil' Kim and Derek Hough's Viennese waltz delighted the judges, earning a 26. Carrie Ann said, "You guys are perfectly matched, you finish each other's movements." Bruno complimented Kim, saying that she "manage[d] to make the Viennese waltz look sassy and sexy."
Lil Kim coming on strong could have some Dancing With The Stars bettors licking their chops.
Heading into Monday night's show, the rapper was a +1000 long shot with a payout potential of $100 for every $10 bet or $1000 for every $100 bet at BetUS.com.
"Lil Kim is definitely the sleeper," says Gambling911.com's Payton O'Brien. "Johnson, Marini and Melissa Rycroft were all sharing the ‘favorite' spotlight with odds paying slightly better than even heading into Monday night.
Dancing With The Stars is among the most bet on television shows in the world with the number of wagers increasing as ratings continue to rise.
