“Boyhood” odds to win the 2015 Oscar for Best Picture were available at AceSportsbook.com.
“Boyhood” is a film that was shot intermittently over the course of an 11-year period, from 2002 to 2013. It depicts the adolescence of a young boy in Texas growing up with divorced parents.
This isn’t just a plot in regard to the 11-year period. It was literally shot over that time frame whereby the mother Patricia Arquette would take part during a one-week period each year and depicts the Hollywood actress with the real changes in time.
Ben Fritz of the Wall Street Journal writes of “Boyhood” and its chances:
The acting guild’s picks correlate less consistently with the Oscars, but the unanimous selection of all three groups has thrown momentum behind “Birdman” and made a competitive race out of a contest that once seemed to clearly favor “Boyhood.”
