Bet Which Racial Slur Rich Lowry Says Next
Richard Lowry is a writer, and the former editor and now editor-in-chief of National Review, an American conservative news and opinion magazine.
Lowry became editor of National Review in 1997 when selected by its founder, William F. Buckley, Jr., to lead the magazine.
On Monday he appeared on the popular Megyn Kelly podcast where....well....he let the "N" word slip out while discussing Haitian migrants living in the U.S.
"Police have gone through 11 months of recordings of calls and they've only found two Springfield residents calling to complain about Haitian [n word]s," he said, seemingly correcting afterward by adding, "migrants."
Then he began talking about how nobody cares about geese.
All of this appeared to be in reference to a conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants in Springfield were stealing and eating pets. The unverified story took on a life of its own after former President Donald Trump spread the false claims during last Tuesday's presidential debate.
Kelly did not react to Lowry's apparent slip-up.
