Jennifer Lawrence was a huge -3000 odds favourite to win Best Actress at the 2013 Oscars for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook”. Bookmaker was offering all Academy Awards betting odds here.
Lawrence announced to the world she was fantasising about getting drunk with Bradley Cooper at the Oscars next Sunday night.
"I'm confused, happy and really excited. I'll be able to drink this time. I was only 20 last time [when nominated for Winter's Bone]. So hopefully I'll be more comfortable. Or at least drunk..." Jennifer told More! Magazine.
"I keep thinking about sitting at the table with David [O. Russell, director] and Bradley Cooper - and wine - and I just think it will be an incredible feeling," the star added.
These types of “locks” have never lost at the Oscars, but the price requires a huge bet of $300 just to win $1.
Emanuelle Reva in for “Amore” was getting the public backing, however, at 4/1 odds. Nearly 71 percent of the betting action was coming in on Reva in this category.
Quvenzhane Wallis for “Beasts of the Southern Wild” was coming in at 29/1 odds.
Jessica Chastain for “Zero Dark Thirty” had odds that would pay out $36 for every $10 bet.
Naomi Watts was listed at 23/1 odds.
