The map below is based on geotagged X data from Saturday evening to now, tracking fan hashtags in each state to see who was rooting for who in the upcoming SEC Championship game. For example, #HookEm, #ThisIsTexas, #GoDawgs, #DawgNation, etc. Over 90,000 tweets were tracked.

As you can see from the map, the majority of the US is rooting for Texas to win, which is especially relevant given this is their first year in the SEC. This is slightly surprising, but also given Georgia's recent success in the College Football Playoff, it's not hard to see why some fans would root against the Bulldogs.
