  • Even the Miami Beach Police heralded Miami's big cryptocurrency weekend as a massive success

  • Now it's off to Warsaw for Blockchain 4 with Joe De Pinto of Haste Arcade and Alex Agut of Handcash Among others

The Miami Beach Police declared this past week's Bitcoin 2022 a massive success and it could not have come at a better time.  The popular beach city and home to Gambling911.com has been plagued by bad press over the past year resulting from rowdy spring break crowds to seniors mowing down outdoor patio diners.  We even had to endure a curfew (during Ultra!!!!!).

This past week's event was more than just Bitcoin as every organization tied to digital currencies descended upon the Miami area, pushing the average hotel stay up to $500 a night.

This event promises to fuel the local economy for years to come, perhaps more so than Art Basel and the Ultra Music Festival.

Among those partaking, our friends from CoinGeek.

They set up a popup Bitarcade in the secret garden of the famed Broken Shaker at Freehand.

Our own Chris Costigan and Francisco Ramos popped in to have a look and win a little bit of Bitcoin SV.

We had the opportunity to play popular BSV games like Duro Dogs and Haste Arcade.

Duro Dogs is the perfect game for our animal loving friends like Francisco.  Collect, feed, train, and trade your dog. In Duro Dogs, every dog is one-of-a-kind. All duro dogs are NFTs, which means your new virtual companion will be uniquely yours.
